Admission to the Lodge is regardless of race, sex, or religion. Priority are given to those from the lower income group where the ideal situation of caring for the person at home is not possible due to the inability to afford hired help and the need for all adult members of the household to work to supplement household income.

Admission and monthly charges are dependent on the applicant's ability to pay. At least 90% of the residents are subsidised by the government.
