Since 1999, Apex Harmony Lodge (AHL) has been a home away from home for our residents living with dementia. We remain true to our core belief that every person with dementia (PWD) is a gift and deserves a positive quality of life.

What began as a purpose built home for PWDs is now a community committed to empowering lives affected by dementia. We strive to reframe dementia as an unique phase of life worth celebrating and to build a visionary ecosystem where PWDs can thrive through reablement.

At the Lodge, this means creating a resort-like experience for residents at all stages of dementia. Able seniors experience an assisted vacationing lifestyle, while residents at later stages of dementia receive love and comfort through Namaste care principles. Centred on wellness and wellbeing, our integrated activities incorporate continuous learning, creative expression and intergenerational bonding. This enables the Lodge to serve as a learning hub for youths and children. 

Drawing on evidence-based practice and institutional knowledge, we strive to build dementia-specific capability in the sector through training and consultancy, extending our impact to many more persons with dementia and their caregivers.
