Apex Harmony Lodge (AHL) is Singapore’s first and only purpose-built home for persons living with dementia. What This Role Is Really About
As the HR & Admin. Transformation Lead, your purpose is to cultivate human systems that enable us to become the benchmark for dignified dementia care. You will not only manage but lead a culture shift.
- Design a future-ready workforce strategy that prepares us for regulatory, demographic, and operational shifts
- Embed a person-first culture that motivates and retains employees committed to our mission
- Lead organizational transformation that ensures staff, systems, and culture align with the AHL vision
- Build a compelling employer brand that attracts mission-aligned professionals and supports long-term sustainability
Your Priorities for the First 12 Months
- Embed a refreshed performance framework across all departments, tied to purpose, care outcomes, and team accountability
- Increase staff retention and engagement scores through trust-building and practical support initiatives
- Launch a professional development roadmap for caregivers and clinical staff, including pathways to dementia-specific certification
- Reinforce compliance and governance structures while streamlining operations with human-centred systems
- Position AHL as an employer of choice in the eldercare sector through storytelling, partnerships, and proactive branding
What You Bring
- Proven success in leading people strategy during times of change, ideally in a care, non-profit, or community-focused environment
- Deep understanding of human motivation, workforce dynamics, and culture-building
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and boards to align HR with strategy
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to coach, mentor, and inspire diverse teams
- Knowledge of Singapore labour laws, HR compliance, and practical experience implementing policies with empathy
- Background in healthcare, social services, hospitality, or eldercare settings preferred
- Comfortable with modern HR tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and data-informed decision making
