Founded in 1999, Apex Harmony Lodge (The Lodge) is a 210-bed nursing home focused on providing dedicated care for individuals with dementia. The Head Of Nursing (HON) at the Lodge is a strategic leadership role responsible for setting the vision and ensuring excellence in person-centred nursing care for Persons living With Dementia. The HON drives care transformation through clinical governance, evidence-based practices, workforce capability building and system innovation. Working closely with clinical services and the operations teams, this role requires grooming practitioner-leaders and positioning the Lodge as a benchmark in person-centred nursing training and consultancy. The HON will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer Designate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures align with Ministry Of Health (MOH) licensing requirements and Healthcare Services Acts
- Supervise the Quality Assurance Committee to ensure operational excellence and minimize risks
- Lead in setting strategic directions to empower People Living with Dementia and elevate care standards
- Drive nursing initiatives to provide clinical and strategic leadership in Person-Centred Care
- Groom practitioner-trainers and leaders while enhancing clinical supervision to build strong nursing leadership
- Mentor and supervise nursing workforce to build a high-performing, compassionate and resilient care teams
- Serve as a curriculum developer, trainer, coach and mentor to build internal capabilities

Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing with valid Singapore Nursing Board registration (preferably with a Master’s Degree)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in nursing with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge in clinical care and familiarity with MOH regulations, HCSA policies and audit frameworks
- Acquaintance with teaching and training development for Nursing and dementia modules
- Experience in eldercare, with an emphasis on dementia care
- Possess a strong background in integrating evidence-based dementia interventions into nursing practice
